2. Products

We strive to display products, descriptions, and colors as accurately as possible. However, actual product colors and appearances may vary slightly due to screen settings, photography, and manufacturing variations.

As many items are handcrafted or assembled to order, slight variations may occur and do not constitute defects.

3. Personalized Jewelry

Personalized and custom-made items are created according to customer specifications.

Customers are responsible for ensuring all personalization details submitted are accurate before completing their order.

Once production has begun, personalized orders cannot be changed, cancelled, returned, or refunded except where required by law or where the product is defective.

4. Pricing

• All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR).
• Prices may change without prior notice. The price displayed at checkout is the price applicable to your order.
• Ubuntu Luxe Jewels reserves the right to correct pricing errors that may occur due to technical or human error.

5. Payment

• Payment must be received in full before an order is processed or dispatched.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where payment has not been successfully received.

6. Order Acceptance

Receipt of an order confirmation does not constitute acceptance of the order.

We reserve the right to:

• Refuse or cancel orders.
• Limit quantities purchased.
• Cancel orders due to pricing errors, stock shortages, or suspected fraud.

If payment has already been received for a cancelled order, a full refund will be issued.

7. Shipping & Delivery

• Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to courier delays, public holidays, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our control.
• Risk in the products passes to the customer upon delivery.
• Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.

8. Returns & Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy below.

Personalized products are generally non-returnable and non-refundable unless defective or supplied incorrectly.

Return Eligibility

We want you to love your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, you may return eligible items within 7 days of receiving your order.

To qualify for a return, items must:

• Be unused and in their original condition.
• Be returned in their original packaging.
• Include proof of purchase.

For hygiene reasons, earrings may not be returned or exchanged unless defective or incorrectly supplied.

Personalized & Custom-Made Jewelry

As each personalized piece is created specifically for you, custom-made, engraved, or personalized jewelry cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged unless the item is defective, damaged, or an error was made by us.

Please carefully review all personalization details before placing your order. Once production has commenced, personalized orders cannot be cancelled, amended, returned, or refunded except where required by law.

Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery by emailing info@ubuntuluxe.co.za with:

• Your order number
• A description of the issue
• Clear photographs of the item

Once approved, we will repair, replace, or refund the item in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.

Refunds

• Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.
• Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–14 business days.
• Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to a defective item, an incorrect item supplied by us, or an error made by us.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied.

Return Shipping

• Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective, damaged, or supplied incorrectly.
• We recommend using a tracked courier service for all returns.

Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

• Customers are responsible for following any care instructions provided with the jewelry.
• Normal wear and tear, misuse, improper storage, accidental damage, exposure to chemicals, or failure to follow care instructions are not considered manufacturing defects.
